This elegant, round lidded dish is crafted from stone, likely alabaster and is marked "made in Italy" on the bottom. Known for it's ethereal translucency and unique natural patterns, vintage alabaster features warm cream and honey tones with delicate veining that create a one-of-a kind piece. The dish measures 6" in diameter and is 2" tall without the lid. It has the normal vintage wear of stone with some scratches and a few small chips along the edges of the lid and the bottom of the dish as seen in the pictures.
